I. Board Business

 

A. Call to order.

C. Approval of agenda and order of business.
D. Approval of the September 28, 2006 regular board meeting minutes.
E. Date of the next regularly scheduled meeting: January 25, 2007.

 

II. Public Comment

 

This time is set aside for persons wishing to address the board on non-agenda items. Speakers are limited to five minutes. If written material is included, 20 three-hole-punched copies of all information should be given to the recorder prior to the meeting to be distributed to board members. No action can be taken on issues that arise during Public Comment. The board, however, after hearing from interested citizens, may place items on a future agenda so proper notice may be given to all interested parties.

B. Enforcement case.
Final Order.
S & C Electric Company - an Oregon licensed electrical contractor. Assessment of civil penalty for allowing unlicensed individuals to make electrical installations.
C. Summary of enforcement actions previously taken by the division for cases 1 through 24, outlined on the enforcement board report. (No board action required.)
D. Program updates.

 

IV. Communications

 

A. Board farewell to John Powell.
B. Status update on electrical program assumptions for Wasco, Sherman, Gilliam and Wheeler Counties by Mid-Columbia Council of Governments, Hood River County and Umatilla County.
C. Status update on electrical program assumptions for cities of Westfir and Madras.

 

V. Appeals

 

Earl Shay, dba Oregon Electric Group appeals decision of City of Portland's local appeal board under ORS 455.690.

 

VI. Unfinished Business

A. Executive Session to consider legal advice from the assistant attorney general concerning duties of a public body with regard to litigation likely to be filed. ORS 192.660(2)(h).
