The 1%
Training Program uses the surcharge money collected from the sale of building permits
to provide code-related training to industry. The division recently held meetings with industry
and continuing education representatives in order to brainstorm and discuss the best use
of the public money for the training needs of the current biennium (2009-2011). Attendees
provided feedback on the classes proposed by the division and gave suggestions for additional
training topics to consider. These meetings were recorded, video-streamed live, and are now
posted below for reference.
