Why should I use the Lois system?

The Lois system is functional and convenient. As a Lois user you can:

  • Record and track secured interests online
  • Subordinate, assign, or release interest online
  • Search for ownership and security interest information
  • Run reports to assist in tracking your accounts
  • (Escrow) Conduct transactions on behalf of dealers, lenders, and owners

If I have a security interest in a home, how will I be notified of any changes to the home?

Ownership changes on manufactured homes require the removal or acknowledgement of each lien holder. The homeowner must provide you with a form to either acknowledge or release your interest in the home if they are performing any ownership changes. Other changes to the home, such as moving the home, does not require approval from the lien holder. Once the change has occurred, an update ownership document will go out to the first recorded security interest holder, along with notification to all owners and any other security interest holder listed on the home.

What information can I print from the system?

Different "user" groups will be able to run various informational reports from the Lois system. There is also a function that allows the user to download all maintained information that applies to their particular user group to MS Excel and manipulate the data as desired.
