Patrick Allen is the acting administrator of BCD

As many of you have already heard, the Governor appointed BCD Administrator Mark Long last week to serve as acting director for the Department of Energy (ODOE) effective May 18. In his absence, DCBS Director Cory Streisinger has asked BCD's Deputy Administrator Patrick Allen to serve as acting administrator. Allen has been BCD's deputy administrator for two years.

Mr. Allen looks forward to continuing the division's projects including its efforts in promoting green building and implementing the statewide electronic permitting system. These staff changes will benefit the state by creating a greater synergy between ODOE and BCD who share the common goal of promoting energy efficiency in Oregon.
