A master trustee is an entity selected by a certified provider to administer moneys received
from the certified provider. The master trustee must act independently from an certified provider
and may not be a certified provider. OAR 441-930-0010 through OAR 441-930-0350 implements the
registration of master trustees, addressing the application , record keeping, annual reports,
examinations, and prohibited practices.
As of December 31, 2011, Oregon has seven registered master trustees.

As of July 1, 2011, the annual fee for master
trustees is $390 (per 2011 - HB 5014).
