Geographic Average Rates (GARs) quarterly reports
The Division has developed a web-based reporting process which enables carriers to submit the Geographic Average Rate (GAR) quarterly reports on our website. Starting December 1, 2009, each health carrier offering small group and/or portability must submit their report via the Division's online web page at:
https://www4.cbs.state.or.us/exs/ins/multifile/
The Division has assigned each carrier a pin number to allow access to create and activate an account. The account allows the carrier to submit online reports. Letters with this information have been sent to each company.
Carriers are responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the Geographic Average Rate Reporting. Their reports must be submitted to the Insurance Division on a quarterly basis. Each carrier must submit their quarterly report by:
| December 1 | = | 1st Quarter |
| March 1 | = | 2nd Quarter |
| June 1 | = | 3rd Quarter |
| September 1 | = | 4th Quarter |
