State revokes Oregon City insurance agent’s license

SALEM – The Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) has revoked the insurance agent’s license of an Oregon City man, Andrew J. Stone, for violating the Oregon Insurance Code.

An investigation by the DCBS Insurance Division found that Stone negotiated five commission checks that were intended for other agents and deposited the funds in his personal account at a Beaverton credit union. He later repaid the money.

Stone agreed to a lifetime ban from working in the insurance industry in Oregon.
