Continuing Education Hours/Credits/UnitsAll Oregon OSHA classes (including online courses and Spanish workshops - PESO) are pre-approved for continuing education credit towards the following license renewals: Plumbers and Electricians (licensed through Oregon Building Codes Division) To obtain credits make a copy of your workshop or online certificate and forward it, along with your license information to: Building Codes Division Commercial Construction Contractors (licensed through Oregon Construction Contractors Board) To obtain credits complete the renewal form and maintain a copy of your attendance records as verification: Oregon Construction Contractors Board Landscape Contractors (licensed through the Sate Landscape Contractors Board) Classes are recognized for either Business and Technical credits depending on the topic. Oregon Insurance Producers (licensed through the Oregon Insurance Division) The following class is approved for Oregon Insurance Producers to
obtain four hours of credit towards re-certification: To obtain credits, make a copy of your workshop certificate and include
it with your Renewal Packet from the Oregon Insurance Division. For more information visit the
Oregon Insurance Division's web site at: Pesticide Applicators and Consultants (licensed through the Oregon Department of Agriculture) Oregon OSHA, in conjunction with the Oregon Department of Agriculture, presents the following classes for use as pesticide recertification hours: Class # 203 Personal Protective Equipment (online only), When you attend these classes in person you receive your certificate and you signed a roster for the Department of Agriculture. When you take the #203 or #205 classes online we process your class work within 10 business days of receiving it. At that time we will mail your dated certificate to the address you provide. Hood Community College to issue college credits toward the Sustainability, Health and Safety degree program. Ten workshop hours equal one college credit.
