The Workers' Compensation Division is offering a free training workshop on Dec.
1 at the Red Lion Inn at the Convention Center in Portland before
the Oregon Association of Rehabilitation Professional's annual social (for more
information about the social, go to www.oarp.org).
This interactive
presentation will give attendees a brief overview of the return-to-work programs,
and then jump right into specific case examples. Presenters will discuss cases
on wage subsidy, employment purchases, worksite creation, worksite modification,
and more! The goal of this class is provide "hands-on" experience to
all participants, so come prepared with questions and actual case examples.
Don't miss
this opportunity to network with other rehabilitation professionals and Workers'
Compensation Division staff while exploring topics that affect you and your clients.
The division has applied for two hours of continuing education units for this
course.
