Director exams

Director exams are scheduled by the Workers' Compensation Division to assist in resolving disputes or disagreement. There are two types of director exams: medical arbiter exams and physician review exams. Medical arbiter exams help the Appellate Review Unit resolve disagreements over impairment findings. Physician review exams help the Medical Resolution Team resolve disputes over whether a specific treatment is appropriate given the worker's accepted condition.
