Commissioner’s Message Hello and welcome to the Oregon Insurance Division Web site! We host a wealth of insurance information for consumers and the insurance industry. If you are a consumer, we also have highly trained advocates who are available by phone to answer your particular insurance questions or to help you file insurance complaints. In an effort to keep interested parties updated as the division proposes or implements new legislation, clarifies existing rules and practices, and generally regulates an ever-changing, multi-billion dollar industry, I write a monthly message highlighting some of the more pressing issues before our staff.
