Independent Review Organizations and annual summaries

The Oregon Insurance Division has approved contracts for the following Independent Review Organizations (IRO's) to provide external review services in Oregon. They are:

• Advanced Medical Reviews (AMR), Los Angeles, California

• Medwork of Wisconsin Inc., Eau Claire Wisconsin

  Annual Summaries: 2011,   2010

• IPRO, Lake Success, New York

  Annual Summaries: 2011,   2009,   2008,   2007

• Lumetra, San Francisco, California

  Annual Summaries: 2011,   2009,   2008,  2007

• Permedion, Westerville, Ohio

  Annual Summaries: 2010,   2008,   2007

Factors considered in the IRO selection process include the organizations':

•  Ability to meet Oregon's contracting requirements
•  Performance
•  Professional qualifications
•  Ability to meet timelines
•  Fee schedules
