Requires insurers to reimburse nurse practitioners at same rate as physicians for same services.

Approves Oregon Health Authority proposals for coordinated care organizations.

Expands immunity from liability for health care provider who provides services for charitable
organization without compensation.

Exempts certain accident-only, specified disease and hospital indemnity insurance policies from
payment of assessment on gross amount of premiums.

Permits insurers, multiple employer welfare arrangements, health care service contractors and
self-insured employee health benefit plans to offer health benefit plan that pays cash dividends to
enrollee who participates in wellness program.

Exempts out-of-state insurers from Insurance Code.

Requires Oregon Health Authority to adopt standards and procedures to certify specified mental
health providers to qualify for insurance reimbursement.

Requires health benefit plans to cover medically necessary dental or orthodontic services for treatment of craniofacial anomalies.

Prohibits approval of any rate filing if carrier reimburses claims for serious adverse events. Also requires health insurer to notify policyholders of certain rate increase requests.
