State revokes McMinnville insurance agent's licenses
SALEM – The Department of Consumer and Business Services (DCBS) has revoked the individual and corporate insurance agent licenses of a McMinnville man, William E. Barlow II, for numerous violations of the Oregon Insurance Code. He also was fined $7,000.
Barlow operated Barlow Insurance Agency, Inc., in McMinnville. An investigation by the Insurance Division of DCBS found that Barlow had violated state laws by:
The investigation also found that Barlow Insurance Agency, Inc., failed to notify the Insurance Division when it affiliated two agents to transact insurance on its behalf, and when the affiliations were terminated.
