Oregon OSHA to change oxy-fuel gas standard in general industry and construction

Oregon OSHA is proposing rulemaking to change its existing general industry and construction oxygen-fuel gas (oxy-fuel) welding and cutting rules. Under the proposed rulemaking, one new oxy-fuel rule would cover employers in general industry (Division 2) and construction (Division 3). Sections (1) through (15) of the proposed rule would apply to general industry employers and sections (1) through (13) would apply to construction employers.

Two public hearings are scheduled for the proposed rulemaking:

  2. May 9, 2014, 10 a.m. at the Oregon OSHA Eugene Field Office 1140 Willagillespie, Suite 42, Eugene
