The Confined Space Stakeholder Advisory Committee is comprised of stakeholders
from various entities throughout Oregon. Members of the group include
representatives from labor, construction, and general industry employers.
The purpose of stakeholder meetings is to strengthen the partnership
between Oregon OSHA and the regulated community. The mission is to develop
confined space rules that apply evenly for construction and general industry.
The committee's goal is to provide input into the writing of the new confined
space rules so they are easily understood and ensure greater effectiveness
for employee safety.
